Victor Oladipo and the Indiana Pacers have been on an impressive stretch so far to begin the NBA restart in Orlando. After knocking off the Los Angeles Lakers in impressive fashion on Saturday evening, the Pacers have won four games and lost just one.

With the playoffs right around the corner, the Pacers are making some noise. T.J. Warren has been an absolute monster, Oladipo is looking healthier by the game, and the supporting cast of Malcolm Brogdon, Myles Turner, and the rest of the team has been playing well.

Following the team’s big win over the Lakers, Oladipo opened up a bit about his thoughts on the Pacers’ chances come playoff time.

“I think we can do something really special here, even this year in the playoffs… Who knows, we could go for a big run. Why not us?

During the Pacers’ win over the Lakers, Oladipo put together a very solid all-around performance. He scored 22 points to go along with seven rebounds and five assists. Warren piled in 39 points and hit a massive dagger three-point shot late in the game.

At this point in time, the Pacers are tied with the Heat for the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference playoff race. They are half a game ahead of the Philadelphia 76ers, who they own the tiebreaker against thanks to their first win over them in the bubble.

If Oladipo continues improving and getting back to the player he was prior to the ruptured quad, the Pacers are going to be tough in the playoffs. They are going to make every game of a seven-game series difficult on their opponent.

Expect to see the Pacers make some noise this season. They may not end up competing for an NBA Finals appearance, but they certainly are a team that could win a series or two with the chemistry and talent they have.
