We had the chance to talk to Nic Carawy who recently took an official visit to Purdue. Caraway is a class of 2022 6’3″ 240 lbs 3* Linebacker from Bryan, Texas that plays downhill at all times. He is being recruited to Purdue as a LEO type hybrid DL/LB that focuses on pass rush and will occasionally drop into coverage.
During his visit, Nic said they had “lots of time to connect with the coaches and players, and what stood out was how much Purdue cared and wanted to help their players,” and that he was looking for a program that feels more like a family.
Caraway says he’s a “a run stuffing d-line man, and a passionate guy with alot of energy.” Looking at his tape her certainly plays like it. In terms of academics, Nic plans to major in Business.
Caraway is off to SMU for a visit and plans to make a decision “pretty soon”, so stay tuned.
