Amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the NBA allowed Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo to host the Songs4U Concert broadcasted live on their official Instagram account to entertain fans.
The concern lasted for roughly 40 minutes and featured guest appearances from stars like Lil Mosey and Eric Bellinger. It was a rather unique opportunity for the All-Star guard to showcase his musical talent to up to 47 million NBA fans that follow the league’s official Instagram page.
During the livestream, Oladipo tried to remind viewers to continue to practice social distancing, emphasize washing their hands, and to stay attentive to the ongoing pandemic.
The signing talent Oladipo possesses has been highlighted in various ways in recent years. He has repeatedly appeared on Fox’s “The Masked Singer” and has released albums and singles on platforms like Spotify and SoundCloud.
When the NBA is allowed to resume, Oladipo will surely look to pick up where left off with the Pacers. He got off to a very slow start after initially returning from a torn quad tendon injury but was showing real improvement.
Oladipo’s most recent performance was easily his best since making his season debut. He racked up 27 points, seven rebounds, and four assists against the Boston Celtics on Mar. 10. In addition, he managed to score at least 15 points in each of his five last outings.
There has been some speculation regarding when the NBA season could resume, but it remains unclear when exactly that will end up occurring. Like the rest of the league, Victor Oladipo and the Pacers will have to wait and see when they will be able to get back to work.
