The Indianapolis Colts have been busy this offseason as they look to make their way back into Super Bowl contention. Chris Ballard made it clear right off the bat that he wasn’t messing around this offseason.
Soon after the opening of the NFL free agency negotiating window, the Colts traded the No. 13 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft to the San Francisco 49ers to acquire star defensive end DeForest Buckner. Then, they went out and signed veteran star quarterback Philip Rivers.
After those moves, the Colts made solid additions in defensive tackle Sheldon Day and former All-Pro cornerback Xavier Rhodes.
To say that this offseason has been a win for the Colts would be an understatement. Ballard and company have placed Indianapolis in a position to win. Not only will they win, if they put it all together, they could win big.
All of that being said, the Colts do need some help at wide receiver. Colts.com listed three potential wide receivers remaining in free agency that would be logical targets for the team.
